With today’s ever growing stresses of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, the time seems unprecedented. The pandemic has caused an overall transformation of things such as: lifestyles, livelihoods, stresses, health, and businesses. With the pandemic doing more harm than good, communities have chosen to stand up and learn to fight the curb to eventually end the global scare. So far, the efforts created have been for the good of everyone’s physical health, but one major problem that arose from the changes in lifestyles has been the increase in individuals’ mental health issues. Often overlooked, because mental health doesn’t carry a physical form, it tends to be set aside and never shown the proper tender love and care as much as physical health. Physical health can be seen. It is noticeable. It is what we all gage someone’s well being on. Physical health can be modified through diet and exercise, but many categorize it as a change that is seen with the naked eye. However, what is just now beginning to be discussed is the mental health benefits that exercise provides to help better moods, improve levels of depression, and act as a healthy way of stress relief.

GUARDIAN FITNESS is created as a response to this mindset during the pandemic. The goal is to brand and identify an up and coming fitness center from the ground up that encourages members to pay attention to not just their physical health, but their mental health as well. The name “Guardian” stems from the idea of being protectors of our own body. That same thinking was used throughout all of the designs for GUARDIAN FITNESS. Between advertisements for the actual gym, product merchandise, and decorative items, they are all to be cohesive in design and resemble what the gym stands for — GUARDIAN FITNESS – BUILD YOUR TEMPLE.
